MC Det and Martial Taktics, two artist aliases who are drawn together for their forthcoming single ‘Follow Me/Play Me’ on the decade old underground imprint ProgRAM and who are about to make a debut within its sphere of influence. But whilst MC Det is certainly no stranger to the drum & bass world, a vocalist renowned for being a pillar for the UK scene over decades, Martial Taktics has begun to stake his claim within his own right, through the no-holds-barred sounds of both forces merging together for another raucous single within the ProgRAM camp.
With gurgling basslines and the growling tones of MC Det pounding through the track’s weighty composition, ‘Follow Me’ kicks through first. The reverse is presented by ‘Play Me’, with slabs of cranking percussion slicing through the mix alongside warbling bass levels. So once again, it’s time to get with the ProgRAM. Bringing together the old-school and the new for another slamming release.
