Known through his alias Grey Code, Spencer Warren is getting ready to drop a massive album on Metalheadz, following several key Eps on the imprint, a critically acclaimed remix for Goldie and a Beatport number one release alongside Phase. And in the lead up to its release he’s dropped not one but two samplers, including this week’s ‘Nowhere Ever’ and ‘Headless’ tracks. Out this Friday, we’ve had a listen to ‘Headless’, another expert offering from the forthcoming album and showing the calibre of the tracks Grey Code is about to offer his audience.
With an intro which fully submerses you, and rolls out into thudding, padded sub bass, the track quickly shifts its gears. Grey Code’s eclectic style is prevalent throughout and the record shows his penchant for the darker edges.
