BLVCK CROWZ has had a successful run this year, with releases already out on Viper Recordings, High Tea Music and Future House Cloud. And the Netherlands native was joined most recently by Dave Winkler for his brand-new single, which received widespread support from George FM after a successful festival season, with yet more music under his belt and a host of shows standing in its wake.
And to celebrate we caught up with BLVCK CROWZ recently who gave us the rundown of the five artists he’s been watching closely and playing out in his sets. You can check out his list below and keep an eye out for more new music from the producer as he draws into the New Year alongside a packed tour schedule, with shows in the Netherlands, Germany and even further afield.
This is some of the freshest music from Leipzig in Germany! It’s a perfect mix from rock – trap – dnb. His guitar skills are insane, and his voice is super original. For me it’s perfect music to relax to. Make sure to check him out!
Absolute fresh on sound design! Also, a producer that has that special ability to write catchy songs! His diversity in production is what stands out to me. The way he uses original vocals on super well produced Drum & Bass is what I like the most about his skills.
This group/Band/baboon is insane in writing hooks and lyrics. If drum & bass was top40 music, then this would be one of the examples. Cartoon has always been a big inspiration for me. I’m still looking up to them to this day!
Somebody that blasted the charts during the last half of the year with every release he put out! His banger ‘Sorry I’m Not Sorry’ really made me a fan. The vocals of P. Money just fit so perfectly. I haven’t seen him live yet, but I would love to see him live soon!
Met him at a show in Estonia, and we have a lot in common… Like eating a lot of steak! … and bass music! Meeting him at shows all around the world is always so nice! His heavy but energizing sounds inspire me. Next to being an amazing producer he is also a great DJ.
