Known previously through his alias LDTAltered Concept recently made his debut with the three track ‘Menace‘ EP which features fresh sounds which define him as being inherently underground. Represented by Yamatai, a newcomer label beginning to make its place known within the wider world of drum & bass, it set a standard and nodding to influences which include the likes of MolecularIll TruthAble, and DLR.

Following its release, the Guilford based producer gives us the top five artists he’s watching this month and including in his set lists. You can check out his selections below and grab a copy of his brand new ‘Menace‘ EP release here (out across all stores tomorrow).

1. Enei – No Man

For me this tune brought all elements to what I love about this music, it’s dark, gritty & yet energetic & fun. It was also for me arguably THE tune of boomtown festival and gives me goosebumps every time I hear it and think back to a fantastic weekend!

2. Molecular – Funky Times

It’s real hard to pick a specific track from Molecular as his music is a huge inspiration to me, as you can probably hear within my music. He’s just absolutely nailed that funky yet really powerful style!

3. Particle – Fall 2 Fast

A track that never leaves my sets. The moment i heard this tune, I knew it was special. The vocals, the drums/percussion, just the pure vibe this tune brings in a dance and even just when vibing out is unreal, never fails!

4. Gydra – Trojan

I’m an absolute sucker for high energy tunes like this and for me this tune is unmatched. As those who come and watch my sets know I love to play a bit of everything, take people on a journey and this is one of those tunes that just erupts on the dancefloor!

5. Felov – Another Time

Felov is someone who I’ve only just come across, but already really digging his music. His latest EP ‘Another Time’ has been on repeat recently, absolutely wicked vibes start to finish. I have even taken some inspiration from a couple of the tunes on it!
